There was a time when blogs were a big entity in the digital media space. Now, most social media users look forward to experiencing visuals rather than going through the written word. That explains the soaring popularity of YouTube and other mediums that rely on video communication. Architect Pooja Janrao, who started her journey as an influencer on Instagram, is now uploading a lot of content on her YouTube channel.

About her YouTube channel, she says, “Though I launched my YouTube channel a couple of years ago, I became active on it only recently. I was happy uploading pictures and sharing my experiences on Instagram but a lot of my friends suggested that I should create video content also as people find it more relatable. So, I started uploading videos on YouTube. It’s been a new journey for me and the response I have received so far is very good.”
Pooja, who has 360k followers on Instagram, is having a good time exploring the video format. Designed as a lifestyle channel, her followers on YouTube are increasing steadily and she plans to be more active as a content creator this year.
“I will create a lot of original content for my YouTube channel this year. As a creator, your content must be original and you must try to be as active as you can. Once you have built a base for yourself, your followers will keep expecting new and fresh content from you and you mustn’t disappoint them. Visual media is the future and I am happy to explore it now.”
