1)    Could you tell us all about this collaboration with Manish Malhotra for Diwali with Marriott Bonvoy, what’s in store?

Ans. Every year, at Marriott we come together to curate an exquisite array of luxurious festive offerings with the aim of taking Diwali celebrations to a whole new level.  The intent is to always evolve and better ourselves to provide elevated experiences and products to our valued customers.  This year we collaborated with Manish Malhotra to give our Diwali gift hampers a stunning new look.  Designing it as a collector’s item, the skillfully handcrafted sparkling white boxes embellished with gold porcelain, consist of an assortment of artisanal mithai and spiced nuts which reflect the perfect blend of Manish’s elegant design aesthetics and Marriott’s gourmet culinary perfection.

2)    What prompted you to associate with Manish for this?

Ans. Diwali remains an extremely special occasion for Marriott.  The aim is to partner with brands that have a synergistic and symbiotic appeal value.  Manish Malhotra’s presence in the world of traditions and celebrations is legendary.  He is the guru of luxe and his aesthetics blended with our vision to make our Diwali with Marriott Bonvoy gift box a real treasure to gift.

3)    What was the philosophy behind the box?

Ans. We truly believe that gifting is an art.  What one gifts is as important as how one gifts.  The packaging is reflective of understated elegance.  Its signature to Manish’s style.  This year we moved away from bold experimenting with a colour that is not only soothing and subtle to the eyes but also speaks to a person’s discerning eye.  The splashes of gold add just the right hint of colour to symbolize the explosion of celebrations especially after a hiatus of 2 years.

4)    What is in the box?

Ans. These gourmet hampers consist of an assortment of curated sweets and mix of nuts coated with a rich blend of spices.  The hampers are available in three sizes – box of 18 sweets, box of 36 sweets, and a box with 12 sweets and four varieties of gourmet nuts. Some of the assortment of mithais in the box are the Gulab Peda, a fusion of traditional ‘peda’, made with blended milk infused with Kerela cardamom and covered with 24-carat gold foiling or the sumptuous pistachio and saffron delight.  Pista Mista a fusion of pistachio paste, Kashmiri saffron blended with forest honey and then there is the Cokhoya, an almond and coconut specialty and the rich collection of dry fruits such as chocolates wrapped in almond sheets and pecan nuts among others.

Ans.
