Pranay Jha is making his Bollywood debut with this soulful romantic song along with social media sensation Anjali Arora. The director Pramod Shashtri’s new song written and composed by Rashid khan has the essence of 70s romance with a rather contemporary touch. Pranay has come on a business trip in the scenic valley of Kashmir, falls in love at first sight with Anjali at the hotel. Anjali is an intern at the hotel and takes good care of Pranay. Pranay becomes restless whenever Anjali is out of his sight. She captures his imagination and occupies a permanent place in his fantasy. Traversing through the serene location of Gulmarg and Srinagar, Pranay and Anjali dance and romances like an inseparable duo deeply in love with each other. The story takes a poignant turn in the end when it is time for Pranay to leave. What happens next is sure to melt everyone’s heart.
In a candid conversation with Pranay, he thanks producer Pawan Mishra for bestowing complete faith in his abilities and screen presence by providing him this wonderful opportunity. Pranay also considers himself quite lucky and privileged to be part of this wonderful and extremely talented group of artists even before he could step out of his college campus. Pranay is pursuing his graduation in acting from whistling woods International, Mumbai. Since his childhood, Pranay has always fancied himself dancing and acting. Son of an IRS officer originally from Bihar, Pranay has spent his life in places like Ahmedabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kodaikanal and Bengaluru, and therefore
has developed a cosmopolitan outlook and taste. Pranay is highly inspired by the Greek god of Bollywood aka Hrithik Roshan. It is, therefore, no coincidence that Hrithik made his debut in the same year Pranay was born. He is a fitness freak and a dancer, who dabbles in various kinds of adventure sports. Apart from acting, Pranay is also into modeling and has done a photoshoot with Dabboo Ratnani. For his age, he appears quite level-headed and composed. He is cognisant of the challenges ahead of him. Acting offers a wide canvas but one needs to put in serious efforts to carve out a niche for himself, says Pranay. In that sense, the real struggles for him begin now. He is nevertheless confident of navigating through this difficult terrain, what is known as Bollywood, with the support of his family and friends and his ability to overcome all obstacles by his grit and determination.
Pranay has very fond memories of his shoot in Kashmir. He profusely thanks the people of Kashmir for their warmth and great hospitality. He says that Kashmir has everything to offer which Indian Film Producers look for. It is not only about the physical landscape, which everybody knows is unparalleled in the entire subcontinent, but more importantly the people of Kashmir, who are not only extremely beautiful but genuinely warm and loving. On being enquired about the social media influence, he says that he has kept himself away from this and was rather busy channelizing his energy and time in developing and honing his skills. However, he has recently marked his presence on Instagram @its_pranayjha as he is aware of the need of this era to connect and communicate with admirers through these media. “I feel be yourself and the world will always appreciate you”, is the last word from him.
