A solo exhibition titled 'The Optical Odyssey' by the pioneer artist Ghanshyam Gupta is being held at Cosmic Hearts Gallery until December 9 from 11 am to 7 pm.

Ghanshyam Gupta is a luminary in optical art spanning more than three decades. Renowned for his larger-than-life works, Gupta captivates audiences worldwide with his mastery of optical illusions, pushing the boundaries of human perception.
Gupta's abstract masterpieces, characterized by their vibrant canvases, beckon viewers into a mesmerizing realm where colors pirouette and shapes engage in an intricate dance. Unlike the visual intensity found in the works of his contemporaries, Gupta's art exudes a serene and poised elegance that makes a lasting impression.
The exhibition unravels unseen cosmic interactions among even the tiniest atoms, shedding light on their glorious impact on the world. Through vivid color palettes, sacred geometry, moiré patterns, and repetition, Gupta creates a transportive experience, fostering a dialogue between the audience and their individual perceptions.
Intricately superimposing patterns to create depth and dimension, playing with contrasting hues, employing threadbare linework and concentric circles, and utilizing spheres to evoke the illusion of movement, Gupta's art challenges collective perceptions.
