CMPL (Contract Manufacturing & Private Label) Expo held in Mumbai today was attended by many Listed companies and well-known manufacturing brands from all over India. CMPL is India's only brand that provides a platform and community for the B2B contract manufacturing and private label industry.


The Exhibition showcased products ranging from personal care, beauty, cosmetics, hygiene, food, home care, beverages, pet care, nutritional products, health supplements, cleaning, packaging, perfumes and more, all under one roof. The Conference Knowledge Series was focused on strategies, best practices and case studies from leading D2C Brands, Retailers, PE/VC firms, and contract manufacturers.


This significant two-day event (28th & 29th April 2022) is the 4th edition of the CMPL Expo and has experienced brand participation of some well-known listed companies such as Rossari Biotech, Hindustan Foods Ltd, Bliss Chocolates India Pvt Ltd, JHS Svendgaard, HUL, Brittannia, P&G, Godrej, Consumer Products, Marico and Tata Consumer Products. On the other hand, D2C brands such as Myglamm, Mamaearth, Wow, Open Secret were present at the show.


On this occasion, Mr. Vicky Menezes Founder of CMPL (Contract Manufacturing & Private Label) said, “We are thrilled to witness such an overwhelming response to this edition in the in-person format after a gap of 2 years. We are proud to say that CMPL expo serves as a gateway to India’s contract manufacturing industry. The aim of CMPL Expo is to connect Retailers, D2C Brands, Start-ups, FMCG Brand owners, Specialty Retailers, Pharmacy chains, and other buyer groups, with manufacturers from the food and non-food categories, packaging suppliers, and other service providers. It has successfully created an ecosystem for the industry to connect, share insights, address challenges and discuss case-studies and drive business opportunities for all stakeholders under one roof.

At CMPL this year, experts from the industry - Centdegrés, Encept Premedia, Acumen Packaging, Orianna Decorpack, shared insights, with workshops, presentations and specialist conferences on Packaging which is the most crucial element to developing any brand.

 

Retail Intelligence experts, NielsenIQ also presented their analysis and forecasts for 2022.
