Nitin Verma - Helping People Grow With Top-Class Astrology Guidance

In a candid conversation, Nitin Verma, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of InstaAstro, shared a few thoughts on astrology.

Lately, his team has been successful in benefiting over 50 lakh customers across India.

What is your personal background? Did you always believe in astrology?

I am from Lucknow. I completed my engineering from IIT Kanpur and started off as a software engineer. Soon, my passion shifted to entrepreneurship. It’s been more than 2 decades for me in the entrepreneurial industry. Before InstaAstro, I started DByDx Software and Edureka, both of which were acquired by listed companies, Kellton and Veranda Lab.

Astrology was an area that I never really put my thoughts into. But a chance encounter with an astrologer changed the whole scene for me. Like every entrepreneur hustler, I, too, had to go through major upheavals initially. At one point, I hit rock bottom as I didn’t get any positive results. But then this astrologer saw me tensed, saw my hand, asked for birth details and gave me hope that if I kept up with the hard work, I’d soon be an entrepreneur and would establish more companies. And rightly so, I did.

Could you share the story of how you decided to launch your astrology venture?

I guess it was destined to launch InstaAstro during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was evident that the world was grappling with uncertainty and mess. Seeing people anxious about the upcoming chain of unexpected events, I thought that it was time to do my bit for society through an online platform that can guide people about doubts, fears and prevailing issues using our ancient science - astrology. That’s how we laid the genesis for InstaAstro. 

Can you provide insights into the start of InstaAstro? What were the major

hurdles you encountered during your journey?

Concluding my previous company and launching InstaAstro was a challenge, as online astrology was new for people. We started at a time when people were not quite accepting of online astrology consultations and still relied more on meeting astrologers in person.

Therefore, for us, the most important part was finding genuine astrologers who would not only help people navigate their issues but also offer seamless communication and motivation to the client who visits the online app. Honestly, it took away a great amount of sweat and blood as we frequently shortlisted and rejected astrologers. But we were determined to solve people’s issues, give them calm amidst chaos and hence, focus on hiring just the top-quality astrologers. With the help of in-house astrology experts, we carefully hire the best astrologers every year.

Could you share any interesting stories or experiences that your astrologers encountered?

I can recall an incident from 2022. I recommended the InstaAstro app to a close friend tussling with work challenges. A year later, on New Year’s Eve, we met again.

Sipping over a cup of coffee, he shared how InstaAstro is his constant source of guidance even today. I could see that he was in his best form, and it was amazing as he was quite miserable last year.  “Thanks to InstaAstro expert astrologers”, he says. Thus, in a heartfelt moment, an InstaAstro astrologer provided crucial guidance to a troubled soul battling difficult scenarios at the office.

In what ways does InstaAstro cater specifically to the preferences and needs of Millennials and Generation Z?

Have you encountered individuals who are sceptical about astrology, and if so, how do you address their suspicion?

Astrology getting misused is a major concern among people. People want help, but they are too scared and suspicious to trust astrological guidance. Through a stringent interview process, we have focused on onboarding top-quality astrologers who not only offer future insights but also calm your soul. Hence, people’s doubts and fears are gone when they actually interact with our astrologers and see positive results. As I previously said- our guiding philosophy is simple - seeking just Quality.

What lies ahead for InstaAstro in terms of future plans or developments?

This is India’s decade, as everybody has been saying. Through targeting the unstructured and unresolved problems persisting in the nation, I wish to spread the message that astrology, which started over 5000 years ago, is a part of ancient India. It all began here, and I wish to take it global just at the click of a button. Our team now plans to reach 1 billion seconds of astrology consultation per day in the coming time, expanding top-class astrological help to an even wider population worldwide.
