Sonakshi, 26, has crooned a few lines and also dubbed for 'Rio 2', the sequel to 2011's hit animation flick 'Rio'.
"There is a scene where Jewel (the character for which she has dubbed) is dancing and singing so they made me sing a few lines. It was a new experience, I would have even loved to sing more but unfortunately I am just a bathroom singer," she said.
Sonakshi has lent her voice to some funny lines in the film as Jewel, the memorable macaw (from the hit sequel 'Rio'). "I enjoyed dubbing for 'Rio 2' because it's a fun film and I felt like Imran Khan (who has also lent his voice in the dubbed version) and I were perfect for the characters of Blu and Jewel," she said.
The movie is an adventure comedy set in the Brazilian city of Rio De Janeiro. It will feature the return of Blu, Jewel and their three kids who leave their domesticated life for a journey to Amazon rainforest. 'Rio 2' in 3D releases in India on April 11 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
