In an attempt to cash in on the super success of 3 Idiots, Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury has made an animation film titled The 4th Idiot. He doubles as the producer and director of this hour-long animation film.

The filmmaker claims that his film begins where the Aamir Khan starrer ended. Also, it revolves around Chatur Ramalingam, a character played by Omi Vaidya, who has also dubbed for the characteru00a0 of Pappu.

Biswaroop explains, "When I watched 3 Idiots, I realised that Aamir's character Rancchoddas Chanchad talks about striving towards excellence instead of running behind success.

But how one achieves excellence wasn't explained. The 4th Idiot begins where 3 Idiots ended. Phunsuk Wangdu starts his school and the story is told through a boy named Pappu who uses the techniques to achieve success in life."

The film will have a premiere on May 9 at the World Unity Convention Center in Lucknow in the presence of one lakh students.

Roy says he is keen to invite the makers of 3 Idiots to the screening, "I want them to see it. I don't think they are aware of my film being made. I want to surprise them."

Biswaroop plans to release a longer version of the film later this year. "We want to see how this one fares and then bring out the extended version." It will be made in 12 languages.

Fact Vinod Chopra was miffed with Sanjay Dutt for using the Munnabhai name for his political campaign.
