Anshula Kapoor hosted an intimate dinner bash on the occasion of half-sister Janhvi Kapoor's 21st birthday. The entire Kapoor clan was present there to make Janhvi's birthday sans her late mother Sridevi, a special one. Cousins Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor were also present along with uncle Anil Kapoor and wife Sunita Kapoor.

Anshula shared the pictures from the dinner on her Instagram account. In the picture, with sets of cakes placed on the table, Janhvi was seen smiling with Rhea and Sonam, and Khushi was seated with Shanaya (daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor) while Anhsula, Jahaan and Tanisha (daughter of filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi) were seated together.

Arjun Kapoor wasn't a part of the celebrations as the actor is currently filming for Namstey England in Amritsar. The Kapoor family's picture shared by Anshula Kapoor was loved by everyone with comments like, "They are setting family goals." and "Lovely, look good together... Hum Saath Saath Hai" coming in.

Earlier in the day, Janhvi Kapoor celebrated her day by visiting an old-age home and spending time with the senior citizens and children at the orphanage. She looked relaxed in their company while the children sang happy birthday to her and extended their wishes.

The 21-year-old lost her mother, few days before her birthday and had also posted an emotional note on her Instagram describing the irreplaceable loss in their lives. Janhvi Kapoor had written, "The imprint you've left on us is so strong, it might just be enough to keep us going, but never enough to be fully whole (sic)." She had also penned a note for her fans, "On my birthday, the only thing I ask of all of you is that you love your parents. Cherish them and devote yourself to making them feel that love. They have made you (sic)."

On my birthday, the only thing I ask of all of you is that you love your parents. Cherish them and devote yourself to making them feel that love. They have made you. And I ask that you remember my mother fondly, pray for her soul to rest in peace. Let the love and adulation you’ll showered on her continue and please know that the biggest part of my mother was the love she shared with papa. And their love is immortal because there was nothing like it in the whole world. Nothing as joyful and pure and no two people as devoted to one another as they were. Please respect that because it hurts to think anyone would ever try to tarnish it. Preserving the sanctity of what they had would mean the world not only to my mother but also to a man who’s entire being revolved around her, and her two children who are all that remains of their love. Me and Khushi have lost our mother but papa has lost his “Jaan”. She was so much more than just an actor or a mother or a wife. She was the ultimate and the best in all these roles. It mattered a great deal to her to give love and to get love. For people to be good and gracious and kind. She didn’t understand frustration or malice or jealousy. So let’s be that. Let’s be full of only good and give only love. That would make her happy, to know that even in death, she gave you all something. The courage and inspiration to fill yourselves with nothing but love and rid yourselves of bitterness in any way and form. That’s what she stood for. Dignity, strength and innocence. Thank you for the love and support everyone has shown us in the past couple of days. It’s given us hope and strength and we can’t thank you all enough.

With throwback pictures of herself with father Boney Kapoor, sister Khushi Kapoor and Sridevi, she gave an emotional tribute to her mother, who left for her heavenly abode last month.

Sridevi passed away in Dubai on February 24. The cause of her death was reported as accidental drowning in a bathtub. She was cremated on February 28 with complete state honours and her family immersed her ashes in Rameswaram this weekend.
