Behind-the-scenes: Fear Factor 3

Not without mommy

PC had her mother Madhu Chopra for company in Rio. The star mom arrived within a few days of the shoot. Madhu, a doctor herself,u00a0 sported a bandage on her palm and preferred to view the action from the monitor with the earphones on. Says the actress's mother, "I am an avid watcher of Fear Factor and have watched its earlier seasons." She was also planning to take a city-wide tour of Rio de Janeiro.

Feminine style
The actress has been styled by Anahita Shroff Adajania. "I did not want to go in for a leather, booted look. So she has given me a feminine look with tights and short dresses with a dash of colour instead of only sticking to dark colours," says the actress.

Colour me right
Her make-up is being done by Mickey Contractor who was heard saying aloud that long outdoor shoots can be tiring. "I usually reach two hours before the shoot unless I have done my make-up and arrived," says the star.

The entourage
As PC is the biggest star of the show, she has her own band of assistants accompanying her that include her team of spot boys, hairdresser, make up assistants, trainer and her staff.

The logistics
The producers of the show Endemol with dozens of their crew members along with a separate team of local crew members have been in Rio for weeks ensuring a regular supply of the creepy crawlies and the stunt paraphernalia for the show. Normally, two stunts are filmed each day.

Boy no more
PC was heard ragging the youngest contestant on the show, 18-year-old Manjot Singh (who starred in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!) that after a night of partying in the company of the other participants like Dino Morea and Shabbir Ahluwalia, he will be a kid no more.

Tell tale signs
While shooting for the Just Chill stunts, which had the contestant being doused with ice cubes while performing the task, participant Terence Lewis insisted on taking off his shirt to display the telltale signs.

Beachfront
The participants and the actress are staying at a hotel along Rio's famed Copacabana beach. When there is time on hand, the boys head there for their share of fun.

Getting the wind of it
The bhopu that PC blows for the commencement of the task, is also used as a fun toy on the sets as it emanates different degrees of noises. The star anchor was seen going behind participants' backs emitting different degrees of noises as if they are passing wind!
