A day after netizens downgraded and uninstalled Snapdeal instead of Snapchat to mark their protest against Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel's comments about the Indian market, now Sonu Sood has bore the brunt of being confused for Sonu Nigam.
Sonu Sood
Sonu Nigam has been trending on social media today after tweeting about being woken up in the morning by the Azaan given by a mosque near his house. Sonu Nigam rued about the fact that he was not a Muslim and 'had to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning'. He termed this as 'forced religiousness' and called it 'gundagardi'.
God bless everyone. I'm not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India

And by the way Mohammed did not have electricity when he made Islam.. Why do I have to have this cacophony after Edison?
— Sonu Nigam (@sonunigam) April 17, 2017
I don't believe in any temple or gurudwara using electricity To wake up people who don't follow the religion . Why then..? Honest? True?

Gundagardi hai bus...

In a case of mistaken identity, Twitterati trolled Sonu Sood instead of Sonu Nigam for the tweets.
No one is allowed to disrespect my religion, not gonna watch his movies anymore. #boycottsonu pic.twitter.com/pMib9SzMbc
