Russian model Era Tsariova will mark her Bollywood debut with upcoming film 'Cigarette Ki Tarah'

International model Era Tsariova, who has taken the Russian modelling industry by storm, is making her way to Bollywood with Goyal & PY Films' Cigarette Ki Tarah directed by Akashaditya Lama.
Hailing from St Petersburg, Era has no qualms in declaring that she barely knows the Indian film industry and her foray in Cigarette Ki Tarah was purely luck by chance. "I was in Goa, partying with my friends when the co-producer of the film Rana Bhatia saw me and offered me a role in the film.

I met him later and he gave me a narration of my character. It was really exciting to be acting in an industry I was completely new to, I thank singer Suzanne who has sung this song for me for which Sudeep Banerjee has composed fantastic music on the lyrics penned by Kaushal Kishor. I am sure I have got the best moves to groove the nation on this number filled with slaves of Satan" says Era.
It is learnt that Era's part was to be played by Claudia Ciesla of the Bigg Boss fame. Confirming the reports, Rana Bhatia said, "Yes, we had first approached Claudia to play the part of Yuvika Chaudhary's firang friend. However, due to her unprofessional behaviour we had to replace her.
We had also considered Bruna Abdullah for the role but little did we know we would find Era, a renowned model and the face of a few leading brands in Russia who could play her part so convincingly in the film."
In a short span, the model-turned-actress seems to have already found a fan in the lead actor of the film Bhoop Yadhuvanshi, "Era is natural in acting and also happens to be a great dancer.
She is also doing the specially sung title song in the film and I am really impressed with how her work has shaped up," says Bhoop. Well, there surely is a new 'Era' ushering in Bollywood!
