Vishal Anand of Fun Cinemas says, “'Holiday' has to be the biggest film to have released in the new financial year. It did good business over the weekend and it should easily be able to join the Rs 100 crore club.’’
It may be pointed out that the actor’s last release, Boss, was not up to the mark. Exhibitor Rajesh Thadani says, “Holiday’s business picked up slowly over the weekend. It is now to be seen how it maintains its good run.’’
Trade analyst and independent distributor Suniel Wadhwa says that while it’s too early to declare how the film will finally fare, the film has been benefiting from word of mouth.
As for 'Filmistan', trade analysts believe that its collection is quite decent. Anand says, “The satellite market for these films is very good and its numbers so far are very encouraging. It should cross Rs 6 crore in its first week.’’
