Recently, while in the US, someone broke into director Onir's rented car and stole his iPod, cell phone and other valuables.
The incident occurred while Onir was dining with a friend in Chicago. The director says, "I have lost all my numbers but luckily, I had just taken out my passport from the car."
Onir is travelling in the US for lectures and the screenings of his films My Brother Nikhil, Sorry Bhai and his yet-to-release I Am Omar at Michigan University and Cornell University.
