Though Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan have yet to begin shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's production, directed by Honey Trehan, the release date of the crime drama has been announced - October 2, 2018.

The untitled film explores the life of female don Rahima Khan, also known as Sapna Didi, who is known for taking on Dawood Ibrahim. The film is based on S Hussain Zaidi's book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai.
