"He is a child in a candy shop. I have never seen an actor more excited than him on the sets. He comes on set like with full energy. He greets everyone and he treats his daughter like a director.u00a0Even if the director has said the shot is okay, he wants to keep perfecting it all the time. He and Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) are the two actors that I have come across, who are so excited, you can see the passion in their eyes," she said.
Apart from being a 3D film, "Kochadaiyaan" has been shot with new technique called - performance capturing. Giving an insight into the format, Deepika said that is has been used abroad in films like "Tin Tin" and added: "It is called performance capturing where the actors are not required to shoot for an entire scene. Basically the expression and various emotions of the actor are captured and everything else is done digitally. It is almost like animation meets reality."
"It is an interesting technique. We only have to do scenes where there is physical contact or when there are emotional scenes. It was very new for me. I started understanding it after I finished doing it. u00a0"It is a very complex process where emotions of an actor are captured separately and then with the help of digital platform and post-production, they create these characters and make it look real," she added.u00a0
