This is still etched in memory. The scene in which Annu Kapoor meets Mr India for the first time is hilarious. I laughed till my stomach hurt and I still do when I think about the scene.

Eesha Koppikhar
The Movies I Loved Growing Up
The newly-wed actress picks her flicks...

Mr India: This is still etched in memory. The scene in which Annu Kapoor meets Mr India for the first time is hilarious. I laughed till my stomach hurt and I still do when I think about the scene. Mogambo went
on to be the second most-known villain in our movies after Gabbar.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: It may sound bizarre but I'd like to believe that Karan Johar wrote this film after reading my college diary! His portrayal of Anjali in her college days was exactly how I used to be. I identified with her tomboyish personalitytrait.

The Sound Of Music: It was my most watched musical. The kids, the songs, the characters, the locations, the storyline, the cars, the chase, the escape and Julie Andrews... wow.....u00a0 These are a few of my favourite things... as the movie's song goes.

Amar Akbar Anthony: This was one of those must-see Hindi movies. There was just about everything it it action, romance, comedy, thrills, emotions. It was all told through a series of impossible events that culminated in all the thre heroes getting their girl and their mother and father being reunited after 20 years! Wow, masala at its best.

Kill Bill: I must have seen this film a 100 times! Uma Thurman is just terrific and the fight scenes are so beautifully orchestrated. Every time I watch it, it's like unfolding a book the film is conceived in chapters, each boasting the look and pulse of a specific genre as expected of Quentin Tarantino. There are references to music, literature, fashion, and above all movies and pop culture, both American and foreign.
