"However, he can't get enough time off till the shooting of the film is complete," said his friend, adding, "Besides, readjusting dates now could send the schedules haywire as Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz's dates have been worked out according to his."

As soon as he wraps up his work on Basu's film, he'll finalise his travel plans, explained Ranbir's friend. "He is also thinking of spending time there and meeting the authorities, who took the initiative of naming a road after his grandfather," informed his friend.

We tried contacting Ranbir to confirm his travel plans, but he wasn't available for comment. His friend attributed it to "no fixed date". He maintained, "Once he completes his work and decides on the date, he'll be more forthcoming."
