I love the art of Picasso, says Laila Khan

Laila Khan Furniturewala who recently exhibited her work at an art gallery in New York, says she was really inspired by two of the artists there - Sandra Mcrae and Todd

But when it comes to her all-time favourite artists, Laila has quite a few. She told CS, “I love the art of Picasso, he revolutionised conventional ways of looking at the figure and form with his cubist movement and I find Van Gogh’s art full of passion and stirring.

Among the Indian artists, I love the force and energy of MF Husain, Chittrovanu Mazumdar and the mood Anjolie Ela Menon creates in her work.”
