Apparently, producer Aditya Chopra is being overcautious about his upcoming Rani Mukerji starrer 'Mardani'
Aditya Chopra is known to provide a lot of creative inputs for his productions, but in the case of his alleged ladylove Rani Mukerji’s film Mardaani he is apparently going that extra mile.

The Yash Raj production, Mardani, directed by Pradeep Sarkar, is slated to begin shoot from January 3 in New Delhi.
Says a source, “Aditya Chopra is personally ensuring that everything falls into place. The project was getting delayed as the final script was not being locked in.”
According to the buzz, the film is an adaptation of the Bengali novel, Devi Chaudhurani written by Bankim Chandra Chatterji.
Adds the source, “There were times when Aditya Chopra didn’t like the final draft and at times Pradeep felt like making some changes, but now finally Aditya Chopra has approved of the final draft.”
Rani essays the role of a cop in the film, and there is a buzz that Salman Khan might do a cameo in the film.
According to a source close to Rani, “She always wanted to play the role of a cop and with this project her wish will be fulfilled.”
Rani is also said to be losing weight for this role. “She has to reduce about 12 kg to play the role of a cop,” adds the source.
The Yash Raj spokesperson says, “The film is going on the floors in January and releases on July 18. The shoot was pushed not because of script changes, but because Rani Mukerji wanted some additional time for training.”u00a0
