Is Imtiaz Ali finding it difficult to find a home to live in?

Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali has been apparently having difficulties in finding a new home for himself.

The Jab We Met and Rockstar director is looking for a flat in Andheri but his ‘single’ status is turning out to be an issue. For a while now there have been rumours that he has separated from his wife Preety. There has been also speculation about his alleged proximity to Pakistani model and actress Iman Ali.


Says a source, “Imtiaz was putting up at his brother’s home after his separation. He is now keen to have a place of his own but is unable to find one. Several building societies in Andheri are not keen on giving flats to ‘single’ men.”

Real estate developer Shadaab Patel says, “Societies pass specific resolutions keeping in mind the larger interest of society members. There are a lot of industry people who face issues to get accommodation Bachelors and single girls should be given the premises and the society should mention the rules follow. Imtiaz Ali was unavailable for comment.

B-Town folk who faced housing issues earlier...
Emraan Hashmi alleged that a housing society at Pali Hill, Bandra, discriminated against him because of his religion. Saif Ali Khan had claimed that he had issues finding a house in Bandra due to his religion and ‘different’ lifestyle.
