Fashion designers Rifath and Suneet exhibited their new collection 'Essence of Kashmir' at Hotel Taj President recently at The Wedding and Lifestyle shopping fair.
The new exotic collection comprises of anarkalis, sarees, salwar suits and shawls in some colours like mal, white, off white, mud green and mud white. The shawls are all hand embroidered with fine and exquisite work straight from Kashmir.

The uniqueness of these shawls lies in the fact that they also have a resale value. Along with this, the designers have come up with fashionable first night wear. ‘Essence of Kashmir’ is dedicated to reviving the handicrafts and craftsmanship of Kashmir.
The designers have dedicated this collection for the upliftment of children and women of Jammu and Kashmir through their NGO Sadiq Memorial Society.
They have not only provided them with livelihood but also trained them to be self-sufficient by teaching them stitching and printing of colours on fabric and shawls. u00a0
