Shah is best known for his films like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa and Kya Kehna. His last release Ek Se Badhakar Ek in 2004 didn’t fare well at the box office.
The duo will start work on a film that was supposed to go on the floors five years back. The film, then titled Masquerade, was to star Mallika Sherawat. However, the makers are now looking for a younger actress to replace her.
Says Shah, “Yes, this project with Jayanti bhai is going on the floors soon. We are looking to replace Mallika.”
Shah is also busy working on the sequel of his iconic film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. The director says, “The script is ready and we hope to start work soon.”
Gada also confirmed the developments on their project.u00a0
