As the countdown to her Bollywood debut, Raees, begins, Mahira Khan's patience seems to be running out. The actress, who stars alongside Shah Rukh Khan, was unable to promote the film in India owing to the ban on Pakistani artistes in Bollywood.

In an interview to a Pak daily, she has said, "I can't just move on. It's my work. Yes I'm grateful, but it's something I have worked for. Why shouldn't I feel it? I also want to promote the film. I also want to be in an interview with Shah Rukh Khan talking about it. Why not? Why is it that I get told that's asking for too much? It isn't. It is my right. This is also my film." Well, as they say, politics divides people.
