Manoj Bajpayee recently bagged the gong for Best Performance at the tenth season of the recently concluded Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) for his portrayal of professor Shrinivas Ramchandra in Hansal Mehta's 'Aligarh'. And while the actor is grateful for the recognition, he doesn't believe that they carry the promise of more work. "Awards don't give you work, but it's a moment where you recognise (talent)," he said.
He further added, "We should have an award show like this in India where films from Asia are watched and rewarded. Even getting a nomination at a platform like this is nothing short of an award."
