Naseerudin Shah and Aamir Khan have come to terms with the past and are now on the same page, a decade after their tiff while shooting for Sarfarosh.



Being a sport
The thawing of the ice-cold vibes between the two started with Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, where on director Abbas Tyrewala's say-so, Naseer sportingly agreed to do a cameo along with his wife Ratna Pathak Shah.

With characteristic bluntness Naseer says, "I haven't seen Jaane Tu ufffdYa Jaane Na yet. I've never been enamoured of teenage love stories even when I was a teenager. Now I've done another cameo in Aamir's Peepli Live. The film makes a very important statement and I'm very happy to be part of that statement.

I believe Aamir is the only commodity in mainstream Hindi cinema that is being used productively and to make statements about the quality of our lives. As for the past, let's not talk about it. All I will say is, I had misjudged the extent of Aamir's contribution to Sarfarosh."
