B-Town art director Nitin Chandrakant Desai is producing the TV show Chittod Ki Rani Padmini Ka Johur. Nitin has apparently shot the entire soap on the sets he prepared for Jodhaa Akbar theu00a0reason why he conceptualised the show.

A source says, "A few weeks back, Nitin gave the Jodhaa Akbar sets erected at ND Studios, Karjat to Madhur Bhandarkar for his next, Jail. Now the latest is that his television produced show for which the budget is supposed to be astronomical is also shot on the same sets. Both Jodhaa Akbar and Chittod Ki Rani...u00a0 are historical, so the setting was very similar."

The insider adds, "It is not only the set which is the same but it is also believed that many episodes in the show have extensive sequences and scenes which are similar to the film. In one of the promos of the show, the sword-fighting sequence the highlight of Ashutosh Gowariker's film has also been copied."

Nitin remained unavailable for comment despite repeated attempts.
