No luck in B-Town for Barbara Mori's brother

Despite Hrithik pulling strings, Kintaro has been jobless for three years

On Saturday night, Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori were spotted celebrating her brother Kintaro's birthday at a suburban lounge bar. Sussanne Roshan was not a part of this party of three.

Hrithik, who is very close to the brother-sister duo, had promised the Mexican lad a break in the music industry. However, there hasn't been any progress on that front, despite the actor's best efforts.

An industry know-all reveals Hrithik was the reason Kintaro decided to shift base to Mumbai. "When they met, Duggu couldn't stop praising him. He insisted that the boy pack his bags and come to Mumbai. After coming down, Hrithik helped him find an apartment and promised to help him get a music deal. But three years have passed and Mori is still waiting to be signed up by a label."

The source adds that Kintaro was to get a break with Kites, but it never happened. "The track Kites In The Sky sung by the actor was initially written for the Mori boy. However, after listening to the scratch, Rajesh Roshan felt Mori wasn't ready to make his playback debut. Eventually, Hrithik sang that track."

In the last few years, Kintaro has made several demo tapes and tried to pass them around to music bigwigs. But nothing substantial has come out of it. Now that Barbara is in town, she wants to charm industry folks into giving her bro his long overdue break.
