The colours used were mostly pastels, along with peachy pink blues, antique golds and some greens.
The clothes were further embellished with embroidery that was typically used in the Victorian era.
The show was less of models preening down the ramp and more of a social gathering typical of the Victorian era with the models blowing kisses at one another and waving at the audience.
Jaikishen displayed three collections in all, named Nostalgia, Maharani and Sitare.
Though bridalwear formed a chunk of it, the show was devoid of much of the grandeur and bling associated with bridalwear that is otherwise showcased and it just didn't match up to the mark. It was more of a Page 3 socialite party.
