National Award-winning director Onir's latest romance drama, Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz, has struck a chord with the youth. Taking a cue from today's technology-driven age when social media ignites relationships, the film traces the blossoming romance between a radio jockey and poet Alfaaz (Zain Khan Durrani) and meme artist Archana (Geetanjali Thapa). They stay safely ensconced behind their mobile screens, sharing WhatsApp forwards and indulging in harmless flirtations, till they finally muster the courage to come face-to-face in the end.

The film has garnered critical acclaim as well as resonated with the young generation. When the cast visited various colleges as part of their promotions, the students couldn't get enough of them and expressed their excitement to watch the film. With the movie having hit theatres yesterday, it has become the perfect date film to watch this weekend. Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz is backed by Yoodlee Films, Saregama's production house.
