The 33-year-old star said she obliges fans by taking pictures with them but the actress is not comfortable with physical proximity.

"I slap a lot. I think once a fan misbehaved with me, I don't know if he was a fan but, I came out of my trailer when I was shooting for 'Anjana Anjani'. He just came and held my arms.

"I am very good with taking pictures and everything but I don't like physically being touched. So he just held my hand and started asking for pictures. I got really scared so I grabbed his collar slapped him. Then I got so scared, I ran away," she told reporters here.

Priyanka was speaking at the trailer launch of 'Jai Gangaajal', where she plays a Superintendent of Police (SP), Abha Mathur.

'Jai Gangaajal', directed and co-produced by Prakash Jha, revolves around Abha, who takes on some powerful and influential men in her district.

The 'Mary Kom' star said the most important aspect she kept in mind while playing the part was to keep it feminine yet tough.

"The most important thing was to still be feminine while playing a tough character like that of a cop. As a woman it is very important to celebrate womanhood and yet be in a position of authority. I enjoyed playing the part. It was very different for me," the actress said.

According to Priyanka, the film, which also stars Jha, Manav Kaul, Rahul Bhat, Murli Sharma and Ninand Kamath, will touch relevant issues in the society.

"Nobody talks about the relevance of what the film speaks about. Farmer suicides, corruption within the society and politics within which we all live. We have given importance to these issues in the film to show what really goes around. It is a very relevant and important film (sic)," she added.
