Priyanka Chopra suffers a bout of flu

It looks like Priyanka Chopra's date diary is filling up more with sick leave. The actress is under the weather yet again. She has a bad bout of fever now. Just a few days earlier she suffered from food poisoning.

She says, "Right now, it is the flu that I am dealing with, so I am down and out. Just when I had food poisoning."

PC attributes the food poisoning to the spinach she ate. "I was trying to be healthy and look what happened!"

Popeye's mojo a no-go

While tucking into a bunch of greens, Popeye's source of instant energy proved disastrous for her. "I ended up getting sick. So I am back tucking into some unhealthy junk now.''

PC is presently busy with her endorsement deals. "I will be soon shooting in Bangkok for Siddharth Anand's Anjaana Anjaani with Ranbir Kapoor followed by Vishal Bhardwaj's next. I will be filming back-to-back for these two projects."

In the last few months, the star has been facing health issues due to her non-stop film and endorsement commitments. As reported ('A six-day week for PC'; Hitlist, October 20), her mother Madhu has given strict instructions to take a day off every week from her commitments.

Earlier she had to cancel the shooting of Jugal Hansraj's Pyaar Impossible with Uday Chopra because of a viral attack. While in April, she was hospitalised for a few days and was diagnosed with a stomach infection.
