It's a career first for actor Rajpal Yadav. He will be heard singing in his forthcoming film Hello Hum Lallan Bol Rahein Hain. He recorded the song yesterday at Studio Sound Craft.
Yadav plays the role of a bhaiya watchman and Makrand Anaspure plays au00a0 Maharashtrain auto-rickshaw driver. The film encompasses the political unrest in Maharashtra. The film follows the two characters, who go on to become friends and help each other at the end.
Bol dialogue
The film has bold dialogues. Makrand (to Lallan): 'Mumbai aamchi ahe...tum bhaiyya logon ne iska kachra kar daala' and Lallan (played by Yadav) responding: 'Humne yahaan bhaison ke tabele khole hai, daru ki bhatiya nahi aur hum bhaiya-log maathe ka tilak hain, tilak nikal doge to chehra kharab dikhega'.
Song came along nicely
About lending his voice to the film, Yadav says, "Music director Vijay Verma said the song needs the character's voice. I was very sceptical at first but once I heard the music and saw the lyrics and got the general idea behind the song, I decided to give it a shot. The song is coming along very nicely and these people haven't thrown me out of the studio as yet so I must be doing fine."
About the film he adds, "It is a meaningful film and has a good message. At the same time it very entertaining and people who pay money to catch this won't be disappointed. The film tells a small story from a big city and I hope the common man connects with it."
Directed by debutant director Dileep Shukla, itis releases on January 8, 2010.
