'Rang De Basanti' director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra makes acting debut

After Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Tigmanshu Dhulia, another filmmaker has turned actor. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who has helmed hits like Rang De Basanti (2006) and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013), features in Dear Maya.

The film marks Manisha Koirala's comeback to Bollywood. Director Sunaina Bhatnagar had narrated the script to Mehra, who loved it so much that he agreed to act in it. His short role is rather sweet.
