Raveena Tandon is said to have declined Anurag Kashyap's offer to be part of his upcoming production 'Return Gift' as she didn't like the role

Raveena Tandon, who is making her comeback with Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet', has apparently decided against taking up the filmmaker's next. Sources suggest Kashyap had recently approached the '90s diva for his production venture titled 'Return Gift' to be directed by Vikas Bahl.

An industry source says, "Vikas is still working on the script while focussing more on the post production of Shandaar which stars Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor. After the film hits the theatres, he will take start shooting for 'Return Gift'. Kashyap, in his capacity as the producer, decided to offer a role to Raveena in the film, but she refused as she didn't like the role."
Recently, reports of Raveena not being a part of Bombay Velvet was splashed across various media. She was quoted saying: "I am no more a part of Bombay Velvet because everything has changed." (Read more)
However, a fortnight later, she clarified her stand on social media saying her statement was misconstrued. Her three-part "Ok so fed up of misinterpretations of what I said !!!… Too much hype around my appearance in the film,I have done it for fun and only because I love the film and the music of bombayvelvet! When asked all the time about it, all I said was" don't know if I will be there also or no in the final edit as film is in the editing stage" (sic)."
