"Mashallah, Da Bang Tour was a huge hit. Sonakshi (Sinha), Salman (Khan) bhai, Bipasha (Basu Singh Grover) and Prabhudheva were all in their element. It was a fiery and compact show. The response and hysteria was unimaginable. Getting it to India was a natural progression," says actor-filmmaker Sohail Khan, discussing his brother's popular tour, which entertained the Indian diaspora in Hong Kong, Auckland and Melbourne, a couple of months ago. It is now set to come to India on a five-city voyage.

Sohail says the tour was special because people bagged the rare opportunity of watching the star perform live. "Except for at awards nights, bhai doesn't perform live. He hasn't connected with his fans on such a scale for 15 years. An entire generation has passed since then," he adds.

Salman Khan and his team plan to travel across Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Kolkata. "Bhai has big movies slated for next year. We'll also have to keep the schedule of performers in mind. Besides the five cities in India, we will travel to South Africa, US and UK next year. We should be able to cover the foreign locations in 10 days, followed by a fortnight in India. If all goes as planned, we should be able to wrap the tour by March 2017," says Sohail Khan.
