Sonam Kapoor wants 'good friend' Punit Malhotra's flick to get a release before her own home production, Aisha

Sonam Kapoor has completed work on her home production Aisha as well as Dharma Productions I Hate Luv Storys. Bothu00a0 films are slated to release this year.u00a0

Initially, Aisha was to release some time in July. A source says, "It didn't make sense for Sonam to have two releases in the same month. So, Aisha was moved to August. Also, since I Hate Luv Storys is now in its post-production stage and will be marketed lavishly, it was a better proposition to release it early."
Sonam's next stint will be a long schedule in Canada for Anees Bazmee's Thank You opposite Akshay. Later, the actress will return and begin shoot for Pankaj Kapoor's Mausam opposite Shahid.
The actress' spokesperson maintains they are still working on the release date for Aisha.
