Last afternoon, Sunny Leone and her team were returning to Mumbai from Latur after a promotional activity when they encountered unexpected air turbulence, leading their plane to descend sharply near Aurangabad. Having escaped a crash landing, they were so traumatised that they decided to hit the road to reach the city.
Recalling the horror, Sunny told mid-day, "We had to take a smaller plane because Latur doesn't have a long enough runway. It was not equipped to fly through bad weather. We were supposed to stop in Aurangabad for refueling, but the plan almost crash landed."
Shocked and shaken, Sunny and her team got in touch with a car service there. "We are driving back to Mumbai because everyone was too scared to fly," she said while driving back.
"If it wasn't for our pilots and their expertise, I don't know where we would be right now. I am thankful to them for saving us and tackling the situation. I am a pretty calm person. Although it was a really bad situation, it's not my time to leave this world yet. There is still so much to do and live," she added.
