Its Sushant and not Hrithik Roshan who has been signed on for Shekhar Kapur's forever-in-the-making film
This one is a real coup for Sushant Singh Rajput. The actor apparently has landed the lead role in Shekhar Kapur much-delayed project, Paani. There were rumours initially of Hrithik Roshan starring in the film. But looks like Sushant has managed to emerge winner with this one.

Says our source, “Sushant Singh Rajput was roped in by Yash Raj Studios immediately after Kai Po Che released. After the recent success of Shuddh Desi Romance, the actor has now been signed for this film. Kapur announced the film about a decade back and it is now finally taking shape.”
Shekhar had recently launched the first look of the film at Cannes Film festival. The leading lady of the film is yet to be finalised. The project is said to finally go on the floors by May next year.
The project is said to have a mix of Indian actors and some from the West. The young actress is expected to be picked from the West. The official spokesperson from the studio confirms, “Sushant Singh is one of the most inspiring actors and he has been signed for Paani.” u00a0
