Karan Johar's upcoming project Student of the year 2 has got a new release date. The Tiger Shroff-starrer, which was slated to release on November 23, will now hit cinema halls on May 10, next year.


KJo confirmed the same on Twitter, with a fresh poster of the flick. "Summer 2019!!!! 10.05.2019 !! 10th MAY 2019! Summer gets hotter!!!" read the caption.



While the Baaghi star is the leader of the student brat pack, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday are the female leads of the film. The team had wrapped up the first schedule of the film in Dehradun in April this year.

It is the second edition of one of Johar's most successful flicks, Student of the Year, which launched three of the brightest stars of today- Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.

Directed by Punit Malhotra, the much-awaited flick is produced by Karan Johar under his Dharma Productions banner
