Anniversaries are special events and Aditya Hitkari and Divya Pallat make sure they celebrate their special day in a unique way. The couple celebrated their fifth anniversary on March 15 with a visit to Australia. Divya shares her memories:

Romantic getaway
For Aditya and me, our anniversary is very special and we prefer to celebrate it abroad. That way it remains private, personal and about just the two of us! We started our trip in Uluru to view Uluru (Ayers Rock) and stayed in a fabulous hotel. There we did a special 'Dinner Under the Stars' and were treated to the incredible starry desert sky. With a telescope, I was even able to see Saturn in all her ringed glory!





After Uluru, we went to Kangaroo Island (off the coast of Adelaide). Here we visited Seal Bay and watched wild seals in their natural habitat. We saw kangaroos at arms length and spotted koalas in trees. I have never seen an island or place more beautiful in my life!

We also did a 'Hidden Streets and Arcades Tour' in Melbourne and visited tiny streets lined with incredible cafes. We also visited the Yarra Valley; did a wine tasting session and then drove the famous Great Ocean Road and did a helicopter ride above the Twelve Apostles. I also bought some stuff for my family.
