After Kelly Dorje blasted one-time buddy Dino Morea for hiding his relationship with Dorje's ex, Lara Dutta ('Dino lied to me', Hitlist, March 25) things have taken a turn for the worse.

Apparently, the couple had kept their relationship under wraps for Kelly's sake all along.

A source close to the couple reveals, "Dino and Kelly have been thick for years.

It was a major shock for Morea when he read Dorje's interview in a leading film magazine.

He never expected Kelly's outburst in print. Now Kelly has severed all ties with the two."

Lara and Dino had a showdown the same day the magazine hit the stands. "Dino had a faint idea that Kelly was going to talk to the media.

But he wasn't ready for such a fiery bashing. In fact, bearing in mind the fact that he'd talk to the media, Dino was planning to meet Kelly and ask him against doing anything of the sort."

"Lara and Dino have been having fights. She shared a great relationship with Kelly, and wanted to be his friend even after the break-up.

But now that Kelly's bashed Dino for back stabbing him, she knows they can never be friends with Kelly again.

Also, Lara's very upset about the fact that Dino's ex-girlfriend Nandita Mahtani keeps getting flirty with the actor at all parties but he doesn't appear to stop her.

At Amrita Ladhak's sangeet and last week at a private party Nandita was all over Dino touching him but Dino didn't stop her at all. His proximity to Nandita again is one of the causes of their growing rift."

The source adds that Dino has made numerous attempts to get in touch with Kelly, but the latter is in no mood to forgive and forget.

"Kelly is more upset because he later learnt that Lara was under the impression that Dino had told him about them dating.

However, it was only when Kelly denied such a thing that Lara had to personally go and talk to Kelly about Dino."
