Tusshar Kapoor is in no mood for out-of-court settlement with Samir Karnik

Tusshar Kapoor filed a case against Samir Karnik — who directed 'Chaar Din Ki Chandni' in 2012 — as the filmmaker failed to repay a part payment of his remuneration. The cheque had bounced with a letter stating "insufficient funds". Since then the hearings of the case have been going on.

The latest buzz to this bout is that Samir Karnik has come up with an out-of-court settlement proposal with Tusshar. However, the actor is refusing to play party to the idea. So much so Karnik has apparently approached Tusshar's lawyers asking them to take 20% of the amount due and finish the case once and for all. But the 'Kyaa Kool Hai Hum' actor is in no mood to settle the matter out of court.
According to a well-placed source, Tusshar has managed to recover some amount that was outstanding. "Tusshar had only got the signing amount after that he hasn't got a single penny from Samir. And Tusshar is not willing to do any out of court settlement which will not help him recover the full amount."
Tusshar Kapoor remained unavailable for comment but his lawyer Rahul Mehta said, "Samir Karnik did approach us for an out of court settlement but the proposal was without any figures. As of now, we have not agreed."
Samir Karnik was not available for comment.
