Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar led the cast of 'Pink', including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and the media here in observing a minute's silence on Wednesday in memory of the Indian soldiers martyred in the terrorist attack at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir.

"It's a bad and a painful incident that has happened and we are with the soldiers and their families. Let's wait (for India's decision). We really didn't like what happened... It was really horrible," Sircar said at a promotional for 'Pink'.

Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and co-produced by Sircar, the film, which released on September 16, also features Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi, Piyush Mishra and Dhritiman Chatterjee in key roles.

Taapsee, Roy Chowdhury and Bedi, who were present at the media meet, stood up with the rest of the crew in attendance.

Eighteen soldiers were killed when militants believed to have come from Pakistan attacked an army camp at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday. The killings have sent India-Pakistan relations plunging to a new low.
