Soon after the release of Hate Story IV's trailer, actor Urvashi Rautela not only received congratulatory messages, but also death threats. Some viewers were upset because they felt Draupadi has been shown in a bad light. Apparently, Rautela compares her character to Draupadi in the trailer of the revenge thriller. A source says, "Urvashi was shocked to receive several nasty comments and death threats."
Erotic thriller Hate Story IV, the fourth instalment in the popular Hate Story film franchise, which began in 2012 starring Paoli Dam, is directed by Vishal Pandya. Sammeer Arora has written the screenplay.
Apart from Urvashi Rautela, Hate Story IV also stars Karan Wahi, Vivaan Bhatena, Ihana Dhillon and Gulshan Grover in lead roles. The pre-production began in June 2017 and principal photography commenced in London from September 2017 and ended on 11 November 2017. Hate Story 4's official trailer was launched on January 26, 2018.
Last month, the makers recreated a version of Himesh Reshammiya's successful track of 2006 Naam Hai Tera, which was picturised on Urvashi. Titled Naam Hai Mera, the video of the track featured leading lady Urvashi on a luxurious yacht and in a palatial mansion in Dubai city.
Another popular Reshammiya track, Aashiq Banaya Aapne was also recreated for the upcoming film.
Produced by T-series, the film will release on 9th March, 2018.
