Ashoke Pandit, in a recent turn of events, has filed an FIR against a Twitter user known as Dr.  Nimo Yadav, who operates under the handle @NiravModi. This comes as a response to allegations of spreading fake news regarding the health of the known filmmaker, The incident has reportedly left many friends and family of the filmmaker deeply concerned.

According to a report by ETimes, the First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against Dr. Nimo Yadav at Mumbai`s Juhu police station. Ashoke Pandit, who is a former member of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), had also appealed to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to initiate legal action against the accused.
