On Monday, John Abraham and Disha Patani began shooting for Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns. The mahurat shot was filmed outside Gaiety-Galaxy theatre in Bandra to mark the return of the audience to the theatres. Also, the cinema hall is known to screen mass Bollywood entertainers, and the action thriller belongs to the genre. 

Disha has also posted a picture on Instagram. In the image, her back is towards the camera and she is seen wearing a black jacket that reads: Ek Villain Returns. "And here we go #ekvillainreturns @mohitsuri @balajimotionpictures," Disha captioned the image.
