Suniel Shetty, one of the biggest action film stars in Bollywood, turns 62 on August 11 this year. He took a break from his acting career and has focused on a more holistic way of life in the past years. Talking about how the change came about in his life, the actor told Mid-day in a recent interview that he decided not to pursue his career as nothing good was coming out of it.

"I realized 10 years ago, where am I going? What is with this career? I have been making mistakes, I cannot get out of that. I made the decision to say I don’t want to do this anymore. Let me take a break and then decide if I want to come back. In two years, dad fell unwell, so that got me spending 3-4 years with him. Then came the pandemic. This entire gap led to the realization that there are so many other things that I could do in life. It was good that I was pursuing it, till the time good was coming to me. When junk is coming to me, who are they to decide whether I should accept it or not? Then realizing that food matters, spice matters, training matters, and being happy matters, is when the change in physical self also came," he said.
