'Madagascar 4' to be a musical?

Even before the third instalment of animated feature film 'Madagascar' has hit the screens, rumour mills are abuzz that the fourth instalment will be a musical

"Work on the next instalment is definitely being considered. The films have been a great success and have become a franchise," said an insider.

The fourth edition might be a musical, with three new characters in place.

In the meantime, 'Madagascar 3' is ready for release on June 8.
