According to his doctor, Axl broke the fifth metatarsal on his left foot and had to undergo surgery to realign the broken bone pieces with the help of a plate and screws that hold it in place. The cast will restrict his movement on the tour, including their headlining gig at the Coachella Music Festival in California.
But a broken foot won't keep the iconic rocker down.
Axl is getting a throne designed with two guitars props on either sides. While we're sure his fans will miss his snake moves, they'll have to settle for his vocals skills. Luckily, the band goes on as two-month break after their Coachella dates so that Axl can recover before his next stage action.
